Welcome to Solihull Presbyterian Church

Come to Solihull Presbyterian Church and I assure you: you will not find a perfect church. Far from it. What you will find is a growing family of people who have discovered themselves to be lost, sinful people, but who have also found that in Jesus Christ there is true saving grace. Jesus invites all people everywhere to come to him to receive forgiveness, and cleansing. He offers hope and peace for eternity.

It is that message that God speaks in the pages of Scripture (the Bible) as we meet Sunday by Sunday. Believe me, it is the only Voice you can truly trust in a world of competing demands for our attention. That Voice can change everything about you.

Will you come this Sunday and hear God speak to you through his word?

Yours in Christ alone,

We are...

...a Biblical,
...Believing the evidence for the trustworthiness of the Bible, we point people to a relationship with the Living God through faith in Jesus Christ. The Christian gospel provides forgiveness, comfort and hope - three things everyone needs.

...Presbyterian...
Doing things "decently and in order," Solihull Presbyterian Church is a ministry established by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in England and Wales . Although the EPCEW was formed fewer than 20 years ago, its Reformed heritage is much older. The beliefs of Presbyterians were written by an assembly of the English church called in London by Parliament in 1643 and adopted by the Church of Scotland in 1647.

...Church
A church should be a group of people bound in the common purpose of serving God, each other and the world in accordance with God's word.

We aim to...

...inform/declare,
...In our day it is important to offer the message of the Bible that there is salvation and meaningful life through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

...encourage
...In a day with so many reasons for people to live in fear, it is important to know why a Christian can live with confidence.

Of course this encouragement comes in a context of fellowship and practical help of one for another.

...and worship
Since God has provided such wonderful things for his people, it is only proper that they should gather to declare his "Worth" - which is the meaning of worship.
